TRAINING FOR COACHES
Junior curlers are the future of the sport and of the curling centres across the region. In recognition of the importance of developing recreational and competitive junior curling, Curling Canada makes resources available to Curling Québec to assist curling centres start, develop and maintain a junior program.
Courses Designed for Coaches:
The Club Coach - Youth course is designed specifically for coaches interested in initiating youth to the sport. These coaches can be parents, grand-parents, club volunteers, the club’s junior coordinator or even teenagers wanting to get involved in their community. A detailed manual is included with each course.
Curling Québec sanctions and conducts Junior curling events (Junior Series) with the objective of qualifying teams to represent Québec at various Québec and Canadian Curling Championships. These Junior Series events include:

The following is a list of junior and juvenile 'open' bonspiels in the Estrie region during the 2016-2017 season. These bonspiels offer young curlers an opportunity to play against teams from other curling centres on a recreational level.
The following curling centres in the Estrie offer organized junior programs to young curlers. The programs offered in each centre may vary. Contact the individual curling centre to request specific information on their programs for young curlers.
